Throughout my varied career, inspired by a wide array of interests, I quickly recognised that traditional career paths didn't align with my curious and inquisitive nature. My eagerness for exploration and fast application of new knowledge and skills frequently surpassed the pace of conventional workplaces, which felt limiting and constraining.
This catapulted me to adopt a career, for well over a decade, that seamlessly transitioned between consulting and in-house positions, embracing only the right opportunities, as a big driving force in my appetite for business were new people, new places, new environments and new challenges.
My passion for investigating problems, researching alternative approaches, and proactively identifying challenges to devise solutions has led to a diverse and expansive career spanning various industries, including technology, the arts, and the food industry.
I have worked on numerous successful projects and ventures, such as a swanky concept launch under the luxury Doyle Collection boutique hotel brand, and building a startup's operations from the ground up remotely during the pandemic, which grew from 3 to 30 employees within 12 months and acquired in 18 months.
Additionally, I have managed the pre-opening of a creative, multifaceted business and turned it profitable within 16 months, and I've collaborated on a joint campaign with Microsoft to attract more technology professionals across Western Europe.
While these industries and projects and others like it may be diverse, the underlying question remained the same: how do we achieve our ambitious goals?
Research has shown that the most innovative individuals often possess broad experiences and interests which allows them to establish connections across different fields and generate breakthrough ideas by drawing from a wide range of knowledge and applying it in novel ways.
